They have a smaller diameter firing pin and pin hole for high pressure cartridges and a multi-caliber high pressure-rated bolt. The factory staked gas key is made of 4130 steel and has a Black Nitride finish. A Black Nitride finish provides corrosion resistance, lubricity, and wear resistance.
