The pistol is made with the traditional hammer forged 4140 steel frame and slide, giving it a solid familiar feel. The steel frame is also mated with composite grips that fill the hand and provide a slip-resistant texture. This particular model is equipped with a 4.38″ barrel keeping the iconic outline and balance for the 1911. One of the nice upgrades to the pistol is the inclusion of a more modern Novak sight which give a clear sight picture. This sight picture is further enhanced with the use of some more nice modern amenities is the addition of an improved combat skeletal hammer and front and rear cocking serrations that allows for positive manipulations no matter the conditions. Even with all of these excellent additions this pistol remains a classic rendition of a beloved American Handgun with a patriotic touch.
