After a years-long stint in legal and logistical purgatory, the best-selling charging handle of the past decade has made its return. Previously licensed and distributed by BCM as the original GUNFIGHTER™ Charging Handle, VLTOR’s patented design is back on the market. It’s the same exact charging handle design you’ve known and loved since 2009, simply re-released under strictly our own moniker.

The VLTOR Charging Handle is a patented design that redirects the force off of the latch’s roll pin and into the body of the charging handle, which is especially crucial during support hand only manipulations. This design makes the charging handle stronger and less prone to roll pin or latch breakage. The VLTOR Charging Handle design has proven itself over the last decade, both domestically and abroad.

Forward Control’s own ambidextrous charging handle (ACF) is still 2 months away at the time of this writing.  We do not have plans for a non-ambidextrous version, so we’ve adopted the well thought out and thoroughly vetted Vltor VCH-SF-4 as our non-ambi charging handle.

Vltor’s VCH-SF  with the FCD logo is made with  the Mod4 latch.  Our logo is placed in an orientation that makes sense to us.  The swan (Cygnus) in our logo looks as though it’s diving with a 4 o’clock heading, and that’s how it’s presented on the VCH-SF-4 with the muzzle pointed away, forward.
