Although you may be able to locate a bolt carrier group that accommodates both .308 and 6.5 Creedmore round, it’s doubtful you’ll find one that equals the BCG from Faxon Firearms. The Generation Two BCG from builds on the perfection of the original with improvements that include using 9310 tool steel for the bolt, which is more robust than traditional C158 steel, and then nitrides the entire assembly to increase the surface hardness while minimizing resistance. This feature provides superior qualities and better corrosion resistance than bolt carrier groups with chrome or Maganese Phosphate finishes.
