The Dirty Bird AR-15 is built upon a top-tier Forged Upper Receiver that has been finished with Dirty Bird’s 15” SMRS M-LOK Handguard. Our handguards provide M-LOK slots on all sides to allow for easy mounting of any M-LOK accessories, and lightening cuts at the very top for weight reduction. Our DBI AR-15 is chambered in 5.56 and is paired with a low profile, nitride gas block, stainless steel gas tube, and nitrided flash hider. We are firm believers in having a top-quality BCG for your rifle as it is the heart of the gun. This is why our AR’s are paired with our Dirty Bird Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group. Each BCG is HPT and MPI Tested and features additional wall thickness in the gas exhaust port area for added strength and rigidity.

We sourced our 16″ Nitrided 5.56 barrels from one of the best manufacturers in the country. Our AR’s feature a 4150 Chromoly Vanadium barrel with a government profile, a midlength gas system, and a 1-7 twist rate to stabilize most bullets found in the industry.

Our Dirty Bird lowers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and are Mil 8625 Type 3 Class 2 hard-coat anodized, just as our uppers. These lowers feature mil-spec lower parts kits and have been enhanced with our Dirty Bird Single-Stage Nickel Teflon trigger groups. Our Nickel Teflon Triggers are butter-smooth and provide a quick, but reliable reset. We then finish off the lower with a B5 Bravo carbine Mil-Spec stock and pair it with our Dirty Bird carbine buffer kit. All rifles come equipped with a B5 Stock and B5 pistol grip.

This variant of our Dirty Bird 5.56 AR-15 features a gorgeous OD Green Anodized finish. These receivers and handguards are anodized by one of the only shops in the country that can apply a Type III Hard Coat OD Green anodizing and we could not be happier with how they turned out.
