The Colt CR6940 Monolithic 5.56 NATO AR-15 Rifle is a gas-operated semi-automatic weapon that offers reliability and accuracy for personal defense or sport shooting. At the heart of this M4 carbine is a patented, one-piece monolithic upper receiver with a continuous rail that extends from the rear to the front sight. In addition to this top rail, there is a removable lower rail that allows the under-mounting of accessories for added modularity. These rifles come equipped with a Magpul MBUS iron sight and a folding front sight to provide quick, confident target acquisition right out of the box. Designed for accuracy, the CR6940 utilizes a true, free-floating 16″ government profile barrel capable of hitting targets at long ranges. With features like an M4 stock, 30 round magazine, an A2 flash hider, a straight gas tube, a reversible safety selector, and more, the CR6940 is built for smooth operation and performance at an attractive price point.
