This Carlson’s Choke Tubes Remington 12ga Extended Turkey .640 extends about 1in from the end of the barrel of your shotgun. Choke Tubes by Carlson’s Choke Tubes are made from 17-4 heat treated stainless steel and have a matte blue finish. As with all of Carlson’s products, our Remington choke tubes are choked matched sets. This means that the longer you pull the choke tube out, the tighter the pattern gets. The Carlson’s Remington choke tube has a .640 constriction designed to throw a larger, more concentric pattern than the Bullet Choke tube. This choke will also throw a larger, more concentric pattern with Lead Copperplated Nickel Hevi-Shot or Bismuth shot. Lead, Copperplated Nickel or Bismuth shot must be used with this Carlson’s Shotgun choke tube.
