American Built Arms Pro Handguard. This 2-piece carbine-length handguard is available in Black or Flat Dark Earth. It has upper and lower heat shields for maximum cooling. This hand guard will work with carbine-length AR-15/M16 rifles with gas piston or direct impingement systems. Weighing only 4 ounces, this handguard is made of heat stabilized nylon reinforced with high strength fibers. The modular design will accept Mil-Spec rail systems for a truly customized weapon system. There is no rail section on the top of this handguard. This handguard is even with the rail on a flat top upper receiver.
