American Built Arms MOD1 Handguard. Available in Black or Flat Dark Earth, this 2-piece polymer handguard features upper and lower heat shields for improved cooling. This hand guard is designed to work with both gas piston and direct impingement systems on carbine-length AR-15/M16 rifles. Made of heat stabilized nylon reinforced with high strength fibers, this handguard weighs only 4.5 ounces. The modular design will accept Mil-Spec rail systems for a truly customized weapon system.
